For Taegan, design is a form of storytelling — a way to translate emotion, memory, and place into form. She brings a globally inspired and material-driven perspective to her work, shaped by years of travel and exploration, each experience leaving an imprint on how she sees the world around her.
After a decade in interior design, she was drawn to create something that felt deeply her own — a studio that celebrates slow design and sustainability. Her work blends timeless coastal influence with contemporary design, focusing on natural materials and artisan collaboration. Each project reflects her belief that design should awaken the senses, tell a story, and connect people more deeply to the spaces they inhabit.
Almaré Studio is a poetic fusion between alma (soul in Portuguese) and maré (tide in Portuguese), channeling the rhythm of the ocean and the soulful connection between people, place, and design.
Almaré was born from Taegan’s deep connection to nature and her love for design. Inspired by the coastlines, cultures, and communities Taegan has experienced on her travels, Almaré creates soulful, timeless, and sustainable pieces that honor the earth, empower the makers who craft with dedication and create pieces that awaken the soul of a home. At its core, Almaré is more than a design studio, it’s a movement toward intentional living. Rooted in sustainability, artistry and a soulful connection between people and place.
